Plot
Shin Min-woo, Lee Jae-myung and Kim Kyung-tae are three old friends who share the same apartment. While preparing for a blood donation, Lee Jae-myung experiences an illness. After recovering, he goes on a business trip with his father in Hong Kong, and then travels to Europe. The three friends' lives change drastically after Lee Jae-myung returns.
Shin Min-woo works as a house painter and is kind and considerate. He's good-looking and is married to a young woman named Choi. However, he has a daughter whom he has never met, and he and Choi have separated.
Kyung-tae works as a police detective, and he doesn't know the truth about Min-woo's past. He is the one who finds Min-woo when he is run over by a speeding car. He has feelings for Min-woo, but Kyung-tae suspects that Min-woo's relationship with Choi is not normal.
Kyung-tae's assistant Jeong Woo-jin is a very talented and reckless investigator who is close to Kyung-tae. However, he hates his wealthy family and wants to be a street investigator. Woo-jin is the first to suspect Min-woo's relationship with Choi, but he is killed in a car accident. Kyung-tae tries to blame Min-woo for the accident.
Choi's sister-in-law Koo Mi-hyun works as a manager for a fashion magazine and is Lee Jae-myung's ex-girlfriend. She is a very skilled and good-looking woman who is rich and well-mannered.
