This review is late because I was looking everywhere for news on the release of more of Never Again! Simpley put, I enjoyed this game immensely. From the Music to the fabulous voice overs, the perfectly timed jump scares to the fear of suffocating. This playthrough had it all for me. I have highly recommended it to my veiwers and look foward to featuring more once it is released.Hats off to one of my favourite Horrors this year!. Refunded because:1. You have to die to progress, over and over...2. You have to walk down a long stairs and open a stupid door everytime YOU DIE...3. Walking sideways is clunky4. Why did I buy this?. Very great and interesting game, I am excited to see what the full version has to offer. The puzzles were challenging yet engaging. REALLY GOOD GAME SO FAR READY FOR CHAPTER TWO. Nice, but I think last level is the weakest part.. Impressive indie horror game. Decent story with a heart wrenching end sequence. The scare factor is a little more on the light side in comparison to some other titles, and it left me wishing there was a bit more than what was there. That being said, there is still genuine moments of creepiness and distress. The first encounters with the two bosses are pretty terrifying at first, but the terror aspect does get a bit dull after the first million deaths. It may be short, but the soundtrack is damn good for what it is. Glad I was able to get the soundtrack bundle for cheap. Some of the songs overlap a couple of the spookier parts of the game, which felt a little unnatural for what was visually happening. A good dose of Silence would have done this game's horror aspect some good. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this game ran for only being developed by two people. Looks absolutely lovely, and absolutely grimy and disgusting when need be. The passion and hard work put into this game can be seen and heard throughout the entire experience. The message is very clearly delivered at the end of the game, a concise statement held in mutual agreement with the player after the emotional ending. On a scale of indie games I give Never Again a solid 8\/10.. I really loved this game a lot, and I'm looking forward to experiencing the rest once available. The soundtrack was beautiful and I really loved the mechanics of the game. The voice acting was superb, and I truly believe that it suits the character and the rest of the game really well. Although there were a few parts where understanding what you were supposed to do exactly were a bit fuzzy, I really enjoyed this and I really liked it, and I'm excited to see the final product!
